Admit, learn, and move

After a school assembly last month, one 11th grader talked to me about how she had made a lot of “first time” decisions this year that she was not proud of.  She went on to say that she was taking my advice to heart and was choosing that very day to make some much needed changes.

When you make a mistake, don’t ignore it.  Acknowledge it, learn your lesson, and move on.  You can’t go back and change the past, but you can still do much to create an awesome future!
